Our Story

Honour God, Make Disciples

Led by Pastors Ric & Marissa Knott, we are a Pentecostal, Evangelical Church in the heart of the city.  Since our beginnings in 1922 we've had a vision to see people come to know their God and follow him all their days.  Ethnically diverse we are united in our faith in Jesus Christ.  We have weekly services on Sundays at 10am with a wide range of children's programmes available, prayer meetings on Tuesdays at 6pm, and a variety of "life groups" meeting on various days and locations around the city and suburbs.

People come to Elim from many different backgrounds, ages and cultures.  Be yourself and come as you are. Elim is a safe environment for ordinary Kiwis to explore faith with others.  Everyone is welcome here.  God accepts us as we are.
